1. Wiring
The Mavlink data transmission can be connected to the data transmission port of the flight controller (using the GH 1.25 6-pin cable provided with the flight controller to connect).
The connection method is shown in the following diagram
(taking the Micoair data transmission as an example).
2. Setting
If using INAV firmware:
(1)Set the Telemetry option of UART4 to 'Mavlink'.
(2)Set the baud rate of Mavlink
Note: Please change the baud rate of Mavlink according to the baud rate set in the data transmission settings. If the baud rate set in the flight controller does not match the baud rate of the data transmission device, communication will not be possible.
If using Ardupilot firmware:
please change the values of the following parameters:
SERIAL4_OPTIONS set to '0'
SERIAL4_PROTOCOL set to '2'
SERIAL4_BAUD parameter should be changed according to the settings of the data transmission device itself.
3. Connect Configurator
When connecting to the configurator, the baud rate of the port needs to be consistent with the baud rate set on the data transmission device and the flight controller.
If the configurator of the data transmission can connect normally to the Mission Planner configurator(for Ardupilot firmware) or the INAV configurator (for INAV firmware), it indicates that the data transmission is functioning properly.
