Please hold the BOOT button on the flight controller for a few seconds to connect the flight controller to your computer. After approximately 2 seconds, you can release the button to put the flight controller into DFU mode.
If, after following the above step, Betaflight does not recognize the flight controller in DFU mode, please open the device manager on your computer to check the status of the flight controller's drivers.
(1) If the flight controller's driver is not listed as "STM32 BOOTLOADER" or if you encounter the screenshot shown below, it means that the flight controller's drivers are not correctly installed.
Please refer to the following article to install the flight controller's drivers:
How to Update the Flight Controller Drivers in DFU Mode?
(2) If you encounter the screenshot below, it indicates that the flight controller may have experienced "DFU hijacking."
Please refer to the following article:
(3) If the flight controller cannot recognize the driver at all, please check whether the USB cable connecting the flight controller to the computer is a data cable (some USB cables are for charging only and cannot transmit data).
If the USB cable is fine but you still cannot establish a connection, it may indicate an issue with the flight controller.
Please contact us via email and provide photos of both sides of the flight controller for further assistance.
