We could connect the ESC to the ESC Configurator to see if all the 4 ESCs in your 4-in-1 ESC can be recognized. Please follow these steps:
1. Remove propellers from your quad.
2. Use a USB cable to connect the quad to your computer.
3. Plug in a battery to your quad.
4. Open BLHeliSuite 16.7 configurator and follow the steps below:
If your ESC is working well, all 4 ESCs should be recognized properly as follows:
If it shows up some errors in this dialog, please share this screenshot with us.
Please be noted, you should not use the BLHeliSuite32 configurator to check your 8-bit BLHeliS ESC, otherwise, you'll get the following error:
If it shows "ESC# x: ---", that means this ESC #x is not detected at all. The same error will show up if you don't apply power to the ESC. If you applied power to the ESC but still got this error on one of the ESCs, this might be caused by a bad connection between the 8pin SH1.0 connectors on either end of the FC or the ESC. Please solder the 8 wires referring to the 8-pad definition of the FC and the ESC. Take the F405 V3 stack as an example, please solder 8 wires to the pads on both the FC and the ESC end like this:
If nothing helps, please send us your purchase screenshot(including the purchase date), up-close and in-focus photos of both sides of the ESC and the FC, and a short video demonstrating the issue to contact@speedybee.com, and we'll try our best to offer you a solution.
