Note: There are certain risks in flashing 8-bit ESCs. If the flashing fails or is interrupted, the ESCs may get bricked and cannot be reflashed through the configurator.
If you need to flash the ESC firmware, it is recommended to use the ESC configurator web version (you can flash the ESC#1 to #4, bluejay firmware, and BLHeli_s firmware)
1. Connect ESC configurator:
Power on the ESC and connect the FC to the computer, open the following web page:
Note: Betaflight configurator needs to be closed when connecting to the ESC configurator.
2. Flash ESC:
(1)Click "read settings" to read the ESC settings.
(2)After the ESC#1 to #4 are recognized normally, click "Flash All Escs".
(3)Select the flashing option:
1)Select bluejay /BLHeli_s firmware.
2)There is no need to change the ESC option (note that this wrong choice may cause the ESC to burn out).
3)Select the firmware version that needs to be flashed (it is recommended to flash the latest version).
4)Select pwm frequency (this option is only available when flashing bluejay firmware)
5)Click flash.
(4)After the flashing is completed, the ESC will automatically flash the next part until all four parts are flashed.
